Many fashion designers find their home amidst New York’s busy cultural intersections. The diverse East Village is, of course, no exception. This SideWalk will take shoppers to stores owned by female designers and filled with their gorgeous and altogether unique fashions.

We have given you two options for places to go for a meal in the middle: For American comfort food, stop in at Whitman’s, which is famous for its burgers.  For a quick Vietnamese bite, pick up one of the delicious sandwiches at Xe May. Though neither establishment is owned by women, you can continue the “By Women, For Women” theme with dessert at ChikaLicious Dessert Club.
