Walking by Anatolia, I was momentarily convinced that I was no longer in New York, but walking down a small street in a European city. The smells of the maritime cuisine and the proud pictures of their dishes cuisine reminded me of many little eateries found off Italian squares. Glancing at the menu, I recognized traditional dishes fare from Greece, Italy, and the Middle East, making Anatolia’s cuisine offerings a true Mediterranean mix. Inside, the multi-level space is bright and welcoming, further suggestive of locations closer to the equator and soft sea breezes. It truly seems like a culinary trip over the Atlantic.
