Originally founded by wax sculptor Marie Tussaud in London during the 1800s, Madame Tussauds now has branches in cities across the world. Vivid depictions of figures historical and contemporary bedeck the halls. The New York location, located near Times Square, is particularly popular with tourists, and features such re-creations as The Dalai Lama, The Donald, Nicolas Cage, and Al Roker.
